In his current role as Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking his main responsibilities and duties
included but not limited to:

● Managing existing customer relationship as well as soliciting new business relationship through regular
customer call and understanding their needs to cater existing products, if required, to meet their finan -
cial requirements.
● Contributing to achieve Revenue and Outstanding Target objectives as set by the Bank’s management
together with Head of Relationship Unit, with reference to corporate clients.
● Strategizing pricing and structuring credit limits for existing and new clients, analyzing client’s potentials
and credit worthiness complying credit policies and procedures.
● Preparing credit proposals with detailed analysis on financial/non‐financial information and market/in-
dustry outlook and presenting them to competent approval authority.
● Advising and facilitating business clients on their required financial services corresponding to their
needs.
● Maintaining a good relation with the existing customers and providing cross‐selling solutions in co‐ oper-
ation with the relevant departments of the bank.
● To ensure that credit quality is maintained & customer reviews are completed in timely manner.
● To minimize credit losses through thorough risk assessment.
● To help in recovering the bank’s dues through follow up & monitoring.
● To maintain an in-depth knowledge of the customer’s business through regular customer visits & indus-

In his role as Associate Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking his main responsibilities and duties
included but not limited to:

● To assist Senior Relationship Managers and Head of Relationship Units in their daily jobs in terms of in -
ternal management of accounts.
● To assist Relationship team in preparation of credit proposals, transactions, early alert report by provid -
ing exposure report, past due report, financial spread sheet, CIB report etc.
● To assist business team by communicating with different department such as- Account Services Unit,
Retail Branches, Trade Services Unit, Credit Administration Unit in day-to-day transactions.
● To manage the mid- segment customer events at event day by managing customer base and assisting
business relationship team through logistics support.
● To manage the customer engagement through different engagement sessions in specific important days
of the year (English New Year, EID festivals, Bengali New Year etc.)
● To provide good customer service while ensuring the bank’s interest is protected.
● To ensure compliance with internal policies & procedures and external regulatory requirements.
● To help the team members to meet the deadline.

In his role as Associate Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking his main responsibilities and
duties included but not limited to:

● Managing relationship with existing Commercial clients through regular customer call and customer vis-
its for understanding their needs and modifying existing credit products, if required, to meet their finan -
cial requirements.
● Communicating, visiting and interviewing potential Commercial credit/loan customers to develop busi-
ness relation, promoting commercial credit/loan products.
● Responding to customer requests and queries and recommending the customers regarding probable fi -
nancing options to meet their specific requirements.
● Maintaining effective relationship/coordination with different Units/Departments for smooth execution of
customer’s requests and queries.
● Performing appraisal of commercial loan applications through evaluation of the collaterals, balance sheet
position, and repayment capacity, credit risk grading of the proposed finances and making recommen-
dations for approval or rejection of loan applications.
● Overseeing processing of the loan applications to ensure conformity with established Credit policy, in-
structions and guidelines of the Bank.
● Ensuring compliance of approval terms and conditions of credit/ loan facilities, credit policies and appli -
cable regulatory requirements.
● Monitoring of loan accounts in order to ensure timely repayment of term credit facilities and renewal of
revolving credit facilities.
In his role as Management Trainee his main responsibilities and duties included but not limited to:

● To attend rotational attachments to know tasks of different units of the bank.


● To gather knowledge from different departments and building rapport with various internal customers of
the bank.

● To attend trainings on bank operation under Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management and Banks own
arranged training sessions on different aspects of banking.
● To serve the job attachment period to Retail Banking Division and SME Banking division as on-the-job
training.
