THE DAY WHEN I WAS A MOBILE PHONE

‘Hello Ali would you like to switch places with me?’ my mobile phone
said. I completely freaked out when I heard this but before I could
speak I fell to the ground and everything went dark. When I woke up, I
realized that I was not me anymore!

I had turned into a mobile phone, actually the same phone I had but
now I was the phone and my phone was Ali! I was plugged into a
charger and I was ringing and vibrating for the 9:30 a.m alarm. I still
couldn’t believe that this was happening to me but it had. Finally my
mobile phone ….. I mean Ali snoozed me and I stopped ringing. I heard
a Whatsapp message sound which came from me. Even though I was
the mobile I could still read the system and I read the message. It was
an invitation to a party by my friends. Ali picked me up and denied the
invitation by messaging ‘No Thanks’. I was so furious, I really wanted to
go to that party but now I can’t. All day I was kept in a dirty pocket and
kept ringing and vibrating due to incoming calls, messages and
notifications and when Ali decided to reply to those messages he
pressed me and touched me as I was a touch screen phone so it was
really painful. Ali looked at me and said ‘Do you realize how hard it is to
be a mobile phone with all those incoming notifications from Facebook,
Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter and those calls for which I ring so hard
and those alarms that vibrate me like crazy. The only peace I get in my
system is when the Wi-Fi is shutdown. Do you realize, do you?’

I cried and begged ‘Yes I do, yes I do, please I will be careful next time,
please’

Suddenly everything went dark and when I woke up, I found myself in
my original form.
From then I promised myself that I will never use the mobile phone
badly.
