Solution 1

She may ask the architect to install a ventilation system in the house design so air
cool air could move in and hot air could move out, through this convection, the
house will remain cool and air will circulate time by time.

Solution 2

To keep the cool air inside the windows could be double-glazed.

With double-glazed windows there will be air trapped in between. Air is an

insulator and it can keep the coolness inside so the interior will remain cool.

Solution 3

Use of curtains on windows. To prevent heat transfer through windows through

radiation curtains made up of fabric and cotton that are insulators may be good
for preventing heat to pass through and into the house thus keeping the house
cool.

Solution 4

Using stained/translucent glass windows so that less amount of heat is

transferred through the windows and I also suggest smooth surface of windows
so most heat is reflected.
