In the name of Allah the Merciful..

First, allow me to extend my gratitude to everyone reading through my Bioghraphy. I

am honored to be a member of El-Araby family. So it all started 59 years ago, I was

born in Al-Jamaliya neighborhood; one of the districts of old Cairo where originality

merged with the beautiful spirits of local Egyptians. This neighborhood is known by Al-

Azhar Mosque, Al-Hussein Mosque and many of Cairo's Fatimid antiquities. I attained my

high school diploma at Al-Husseinieh School. At this age I was highly influenced by my

father and uncles, at the time their work focused on trade in Al-Moski Street and I spent

most of my summer vacation during my high school education working with them in the

sales business.

In the year 1978, I joined the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in the field of

communications and electronics. During my years as a university student, I worked part

time at ELARABY. I participated in the foundation of the establishment of the after-sales

services and along with Eng. Salah El-Araby we developed a system for spare parts

logistics for all our products. Moreover, I was trained on the maintenance of radio

cassettes and fans.

I graduated in 1982 with a project on solar cells and its importance as an alternative

energy source. After graduation and during fulfilling my duty at the Egyptian military

service I was honored to work alongside my father as his personal assistant. This

experience added a lot to me both personally and professionally because I learned

from my father many skills and values of life such as dealing with various people with

different personalities and diverse social standards, I learned that in our work

environment it is essential to be courageous, risk taker and fearless. Immediately after

my military service ended, I started working in the factory located in “Benha” and I
participated in the management of the factory purchases. After a while, I was assigned

on a project that was an innovation to ELARABY; I established the radio cassette

factory. I was leading a big team and one of my job descriptions was being responsible

for the employees training and development, later I became the factory manager.

In 1990, I participated in all phases of procurement, designing and producing audio

equipment at ELARABY, which later qualified me to have a valuable contribution to the

project of production and sales of television which was one of the most important

projects in the history of ELARABY. With the uprising of the TV project I gained

experience in the area of television supply chain. I acted as the Managing Director of

ELARABY TV Company and I was successful in connecting the demands of the market

with the supply at the factory through purchasing raw materials and components.

During this time, One of every two televisions sold in Egypt was a Toshiba Television,

manufactured by ELARABY, which was and still is a huge success.

I contributed along with my colleagues in the penetration of the market of household

appliances and in 1999 we started the production and sales of washing machines, we

contributed in the establishment of the air conditioning industry as a partnership

between ELARABY and SHARP. Both companies worked together on feasibility studies

and the establishment of the factory in Egypt. At ELARABY, we always ensure the

development and production of electronic devices that meet the real and actual

needs of consumers by continuously monitoring the market needs.
