Conclusion

Women empowerment is to encourage women to fight for their rights and freedom. Women
empowerment also means to treat women equal to women.

The mothers were in favour of teaching their children to support the women empowerment
movement. And the grandmothers encouraged the youth to learn self defence.

The grandmother for a long time sought equality for a long time and because of the current
mother who fought the rights of women. the grandmother hence doesn't require any more
changes in women empowerment.

In my opinion the rights between men and women at this moment are very equal. But I have
learned that in India women in ancient times were not treated well let alone equal. In early
times women were to shave their head after losing their husband, they were neither allowed
to vote nor were they allowed to be a part of the panchayat [a village council.]. They have
recently started to vote, be a part of the village council as women are reserved one third of
the seats in a political party. Currently the president of India is a woman who was bought
and raised in a village. Thanks to the Indian government’s reforms that in india women and
men are equal.
