This student found key differences between friendships in India compared to another country during a school exchange program. They observed that foreign students spent time independently roaming around, whereas in India friendships involve bonding between entire families that become like family friends. The only similarity was the unbreakable bond between close friends. The student was happy for the opportunity to learn about different cultures through the exchange program.

I am truly happy that the school gave me this opportunity
of being in this exchange meet. I found many differences between their friendships and our friendships. I found their friendships to be very interesting. The way they spend time, the way they are so independent so they just roam around. Whereas in India it is a bond where two families meet and there they turn into family friends. The only similarity I found is the unbreakable bond between two people. With help of this project the only thing is that there will be friends in your bad times and good times.
