SPEAKING LESSON 1

Nội dung: Speaking Part 1

GIỚI THIỆU BÀI THI SPEAKING PART 1

- Thời gian: 4 – 5 phút

- Đối thoại trực tiếp với giảm khảo người bản xứ
- 9 – 12 câu hỏi được chia thành 3 chủ đề để đánh giá khả năng ngôn ngữ
của thí sinh trong ngữ cảnh giao tiếp hàng ngày.

Ví dụ:

1. Do you like playing sports?

Point: Yes. I often spend my free time playing volleyball.

Illustration: You know, playing this sport helps me to improve my

height. I usually play it with my friends every afternoon after class.

2. Do you like travelling?

Point: Yes, of course.

Illustration: I’ve been to many places in Vietnam like Da Nang or Ha Noi.

I travel a lot because this helps me release my stress and widen my
horizons.

1. Cấu trúc chỉ lý do:

Clause + so that + clause. I have moved to the city so

(để/để Lưu ý: Ở mệnh đề theo sau “so that” (Tôi đã chuyển tới ở thành
mà) thường có thêm modal verb (will, phố để tôi có thể tìm thấy
would, can, could,...) công việc tốt hơn.)

LUYỆN TẬP

Bài 1: Sử dụng 1-2 câu để giới thiệu bản thân bằng tiếng Anh về những

- Ngành học / Nghề nghiệp : Currently I am an 11th grade girl at a high

school in the city. I'm still studying hard every day for a better future

 - Quê hương: I live in a small city located in the northwest of Vietnam. This
place is surrounded by many hills. My city is famous for being associated
with a historical event "the illustrious five continents shake the world"
- Chỗ ở: I live in a small house far from the city center. My house is a four-
level house surrounded by vegetable gardens and ponds. I live here with
my parents and siblings.
- Sở thích trong thời gian rảnh: To be honest, I am a person with little free
time because I often have to go to school and participate in club
activities. But when I have free time, I usually spend that time reading my
favorite novels, listening to the music I like to listen to, and sometimes I
spend that time with my family.

Bài 2: Trả lời các câu hỏi Part 1 dưới đây dựa vào từ vựng và cấu trúc gợi ý:

1. Do you like your neighbours?

Well I like most of them. They all seem to be quite friendly and
generous
. However, there are a few people who have a very low
educational level
and keep making loud noises at night, especially when they sing karaoke.

2. What do you often do at the park?

I do. For a nature lover like me, park is truly a life saver. It is not only the
perfect place to enjoy fresh air but also an excellent hideaway to escape the
city hustle and bustle for a short while.

To be honest, I am a person with little free time because I often have to go to

school and participate in club activities, so my time with my family is very
limited. But when I have free time, I usually spend that time with my family
