TASK 2:

The only way to improve road safety is to give much stricter

punishments on driving offenses.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, there has been growing concern from society about whether giving harder
forbidden is a unique-->solely way to enhance road safety. My essay will outline two the other
ways of this phenomenon and why I disagree with the above statement. 42 words
On the one hand, stricter punishment utterly plays an important role in improving driving
safety. At first, the heavier the penalty, the more deterrent, like in Singapore, because of the fine
of up to 500 dollars, no one dares to violate the traffic safety law. Secondly, the fact that the state
imposes severe penalties on driving offenses is advantageous because almost no one dares to
commit another incident because they would have to pay an extremely high price, such as
spending time in jail, paying a fine, losing their driver's license, or having their car impounded

On the other hand, I strongly believed safety traffic education is the best way to raise
awareness for individuals of all ages. that heavy fines are effective, but not the only way to
improve traffic conditions. First of all, perhaps safety traffic education is the best way, to
establish programs to educate young children or adolescents on how to well implement traffic
safety rules to gradually form a compliant lifestyle abiding traffic safety law. Which, An
educational way can be mentioned such as is to teaching children how to wear helmets when
participating in traffic, not to run red lights, and not to drink alcohol while driving. In other
levels, currently, all primary schools and kindergartens in Vietnam apply for the compulsory
traffic safety education program. From high school to higher, and students are always reminded
about traffic safety. 115 words
In conclusion, although various feasible reasons can be illustrated in this opinion, I believe
that stricter punishment is not the only solution to low down transport accidents. 27 words
