Objective(s) By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:


1. Buy an item from the school’s bookshop with guidance.

Activities 1. Teacher explains Ringgit value and how to spend money when shopping.
2. Pupils list items that are sold at a bookshop.
3. Teacher explains sentence construction to be used for the next activity.
4. Pupils are given money and they are taken to the bookshop.
5. Using the money given and sentences taught, they are to buy 1 or 2 items at the
bookshop.
6. Pupils and teacher do reflection on the shopping activity.

Success Criterion Pupils use 3 sentences taught to shop at the school’s bookshop.

2. Colour 5 pictures according to descriptions given.

Activities 1. Pupils watch videos and listen to songs about colours to recall previous lesson.
2. Class plays ‘I Spy’ to identify objects with different colours in the classroom.
3. Pupils are given a task (Activity Book, page 34).
4. They are guided to match 5 pictures of items with their descriptions.
5. Then, pupils colour the pictures according to the descriptions matched.

Success Criterion Pupils match and colour correctly with teacher’s guidance.
