“Ahhh!”. I said as I was trembling with fear. I still remember the first time I tried to
swim; it was a total disaster. I used to hate swimming but not anymore! Instead, I love it
now. I cannot imagine my life without it.
My swimming coach always told me to wear a proper swimming attire including eye
goggles and swimming cap. Even though we can still swim without these items, she said we
need to wear for safety reason.
For your information, most of the swimming lessons I took was held in an indoor
pool. The room was filled with echoes and the pools were very deep. That was why it was
scary to me at first. Personally, I like to swim outdoor such as at the beach.
Swimming helps me a lot. It helps me deal with any unwanted stress. I also feel calm
and relax whenever I swim. Plus, ever since I started swimming, I noticed that my body is
much fit and stronger. It is unbelievable that I can swim for an hour without break.
All in all, I’m glad that I started swimming. Now, I am no longer afraid of water and
drowning is not my biggest fear anymore. I have become a braver version of me. I hope to
continue this hobby as long as I could.

Do you have a favourite sport that you like to play with your friends or family? Well, I
would like to tell you about my favourite sport, which is badminton. It is a very popular
sport among teenagers and this sport needs rackets and a shuttlecock to play. Furthermore,
this sport also needs at least two players or more so that the game will be more competitive
and challenging!
For me, I usually play badminton after school with my neighbours. Most of the time
we play at the field near our homes. However, we will always go to the badminton court if
we have time.
It is undeniable that playing badminton is good for my mental health. It can freshen
up my mind and help me focus better especially in class. At this point, I can quickly plan new
strategies to defeat the opponents.
Not only it helps to improve my mental health, playing badminton also makes me
better physically. It keeps my body fit and healthy as this sport requires stamina to make me
move faster. As a result, it prevents me from getting sick often and builds up my
metabolism.
Playing badminton indirectly helps me in going through the challenges in my life.
Certainly, this sport can help build a better relationship with everyone. It can also reduce my
stress so I can enjoy my daily life without any obstacles. Surely, sport is a preserver of life!
