A: Whenever I sleep for less than 6-8 hours, or regularly sleeping, I tend to have a difficult day
ahead. For whatever reason, I have difficulty focusing and finishing my work which results me
being frustrated. Also, I became irritated even at small things which is very different whenever I
get plenty of sleep. Within the past year, I am having trouble sleeping. One of the main culprits
behind this is that I recently had Panic Attack wherein for 1 week, I have difficulty in sleeping. I
tend to sleep roughly 2 hours or at most 3 hours a day. I tend to fell asleep around 2 or 3 in the
wee hours of morning. That is why, I end up using melatonin just to curve my sleeping habit. It
turned out, sadly, me being dependent on melatonin with the combination of drinking milk in the
evening. The result was drastic. I slept like a log whenever I take melatonin and milk. Without
those, I can hardly sleep. The downside is that I became dependent on melatonin. It is now very
hard for me not to take melatonin as my sleeping partner. Now I understand that sleeping is
very crucial in one’s daily living as it is one of the driving factor as how would you face the day
ahead of you.
