TASK 1_BÀI 1

The given bar chart illustrates the change in worldwide sales of games software,
CDs and DVD or video in the period from 2000 to 2003.

Overall, the annual selling of games software and DVD/video increased


regularly, while CDs experienced the highest figure over this period. 

In 2000, the figure for CDs selling was higher than the other two products, at 35
billion dollars. While the total sales of games software and DVD/video were
approximately 18 billion and 13 billion dollars, respectively. The sales of
DVD/video rose steadily in 2002, at the figure of 27 billion dollars. Likewise,
the figure for games software grew gradually, reaching about 18 billion dollars
in the same year.

In contrast, the worldwide sales of CDs experienced a slight decline, compared


with the significant development of DVD/video at a similar figure of
approximately 31 billion dollars in 2003. In addition, the global selling of games
software reached its highest spot in the last period, at about 20 billion dollars.
TASK 2_BÀI 2

High school students are usually not good at managing money. What are
the reasons? What are the solutions? 

It is true that high school adolescents find it difficult to manage their money.
There are a number of reasons behind this phenomenon and several solutions
should be adopted to solve the problem.

There are two primary reasons why managing money is not good for high
school students. One reason is that students in highschool are in rebelious age.
At this age group, they tend to ignore the advice about managing expenditure
from their parents. For example, parents often make complains about their
children spending too much on uneccesary things, but the children conservely
think that their parents are over controlling them. As a result, they spend money
wastefully to satisfy their feeling instead of parents's dissuations. Another
reason is that many advertisements aimed at adolescents. The children are easily
influenced by advertisements, which colorful and attractive. Therefore, almost
teenagers waste money to unreasonable items by pursuing up-to-date things on
advertisements, such as clothings or new phones, which updates on the means of
online shopping.

There are measured which could be implemented to deal with these root caused
of wasting money on adolescences. Firsly, parents should teach their children
how to spend money sensibly since those children were kid. Therefore, the
children may rightly aware of way expenditure and managing money when they
grew. For instance, children are greatly influenced from adult's lifestyle, so
parents must to manage expenses properly in order to children do in imitation of
their parents. Secondly, government, as well as parents has a role to control
these advertisement, which aimed in young people in high school. Controls
should apply emphatically to informal online platforms. In particular, the
advertisements are bombastic and excessively abusive among adolescents, who
are targeted for consumption.

In conclusion, some reasons why teenagers find it difficult in managing


expenses can be identified, and some solutions should be adopted by
government and parents.
