Look at the numbers in the clothesline. How are they arranged, in
increasing or decreasing order?
How do we arrange numbers in increasing order? How about in
decreasing order?

To arrange numbers in increasing or decreasing order, first pick any two


numbers and compare them starting from left to right. Find out which one is
greater or less, then put them in correct order. Then, pick another number and
compare it with the one of the first two numbers you picked. Then, put them in
order accordingly. Do the same with the other numbers.

What is it?
To arrange numbers in increasing or decreasing order, you can follow
these steps.
1. Pick any two numbers and compare them starting from left to right.
2. Find out which one is greater or less, then put them in correct order.
3. Then, pick another number and compare it with the one of the first two
numbers you picked.
4. Then, put them in order accordingly.
5. Do the same with the other numbers.
