To find the area of a triangle, multiply the base by the height, and then divide by 2.

A= B*H/2 H3

A=3*4/2 B4

A=6 cm (units)
AREA: Squares, rectangles and parallelograms
To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length by the width. The formula is: A = L * W where A is the area, L is the
length, W is the width, and * means multiply.
