SPED’ers C.A.R.E Organization


(Concerned Advocates Reaching-out to the Exceptional)

Objectives of the Organization:


1. Advocates the rights of exceptional
2. Promote the awareness in the community; the rights and condition of the
exceptional.
3. Protect the atypical children from discrimination and neglect.
4. Raise funds for the realization of the program and activities promoting the care
for the exceptional children.
5. Educate the people in the community to take an active part in the advocating
rights of the children, especially the less fortune and the exceptional.

Action Plan:
1. Leadership Training
2. Seminar In Innovative Strategies In Teaching Children With Visual Impaired.
3. Sensory Integration Techniques Seminar.
4. Exhibits of Instructional Materials.
5. Fun Day For Special Children
6. Coffee for a Cause
- Proceed to fun day for special children.
7. In Celebration for the 35th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation and
the PR Week an Activity: Leveling-Up Parents Awareness in Understanding
CSEN.

CONSTITUTION and BY-LAWS

ARTICLE I
Name of the Organization

Section 1: This organization shall be officially known as SPED’ers C.A.R.E


(Concerned Advocates Reaching-out to the Exceptional)

ARTICLE II
Objectives of the Organization

Section 1: Advocates the rights of exceptional

Section 2: Promote the awareness in the community; the rights and condition of the
exceptional.

Section 3: Protect the atypical children from discrimination and neglect.

Section 4: Raise funds for the realization of the program and activities promoting the
care for the exceptional children.

Section 5: Educate the people in the community to take an active part in the
advocating rights of the children, especially the less fortune and the exceptional.

ARTICLE III
Funding of the Organization

Section 1: The funds of organization shall come from the following:


a. Membership Fee
b. other possible legitimate sources
1. Solicitation
c. Fund Raising Activities
1. Exhibit
2. Film showing
3. Cultural show
Section 2: all financial income of the organization shall be deposited in the bank
which can only be withdrawn by the President, the Treasurer, and the Adviser.

Section 3: No withdrawals of money unless it was appproved by the body.

ARTICLE IV
Membership and Duties of Members

Section 1: All SPED Major students shall be the members of the organization.

Section 2: All members of organization shall:


a. Uphold and abide the Constitution and By-Laws of organization.
b. Attend all regular and special meeting of the organization set by the
members of the SPED’ers C.A.R.E.
c. Participants and cooperation in every activity agreed upon.

Section 3: Term of office for elected officers shall be one year.

ARTICLE V
The Officers of the Organization

Section 1: The Officers of the club shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer, Auditor, Business Manager(2), Press Relation Officer(2), and
Representatives by year level.

ARTICLE VI
Duties of the Officers

Section 1: The President shall:


a. Call and preside over all meetings of the organizations.
b. Perform all the duties usually perform by the presiding officer.
c. Sign all business transaction agreed upon by the organization for and in
behalf of the club. No transaction will be made without the knowledge and
approval of the majority.
d. Require the financial reports from the treasurer duty audited every meeting.
e. Prepared the action plan to be undertaken by the club for the whole fiscal
year.
f. Act as spokesman of the members in matters affecting their welfare.
g. Submit to the body general written reports about the condition of the
organization at the end of the fiscal year.
h. In-charge for the program planning and implementation.
Section 2: The Vice President shall:
a. Perform the duties of the President in case of physical absence, resignation,
and removal, inability to perform the duties of his office due to the
reasonable cause, separation or transfer to any other officer.
b. Perform other functions that may be assigned to her by the President.

Section 3: The Secretary shall:


a. Be custodian of all records.
b. Give notice to all meetings to be called.
c. Prepared and read the previous minutes every meeting.
d. Prepared all forms needed to carry out plans and policies of the
organization.
e. Perform such other duties as the President may delegate to him from time to
time.

Section 4: the Treasurer shall:


a. Collect all receive fees, contributions, moneys, materials, and other sources
to which he shall issue official receipt.
b. Keep complete record of each transaction for the organization as evidence
and proof of his cash position at any given time and place.
c. Disburse funds upon written recommendation of, or as authorized by the
organization, for all financial requirements of the organization.
d. Certified the availability of funds whenever required.
e. Submit all records to the auditor for auditing.

Section 5: The Auditor shall:


a. Audit all financial transactions of the organization.
b. See to it that money and financial records of the organization are in order.
c. Maintain and independent review and examination of the financial records
of the organization.

Section 6: The Business Managers shall:


a. Buy needed materials for every activity and for official use of the
organization.

Section 7: The Press Relation Officers shall:


a. Disseminate and update the members of all information relative to
programs, project and actions taken by the organization.

Section 8: The Representative shall:


a. Report the problems of designated year level of the representatives related to
the organization.
ARTICLE VII
Amendments
Section 1: These By-Laws may be amended in special meeting called for the purpose
by a ¾ vote of the majority of all members of the organization.

Section 2: Amendments to those By-Laws by the members shall take upon approval.
