A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the chemical reactions associated with biological
and industrial processes affecting life and the environment

B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to use any form of media, present chemical reactions involved in
biological and industrial processes affecting life and the environment

C. Learning Competencies The learners shall be able toapply the principles of conservation of mass to chemical
reactions.

D. Objectives At the end of a 60-minute lesson, the students should be able to:
 State Avogadro’s Law
 Solve problem situation
 Cite application of Avogadro’s Law

A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting Activity: Letter Charade
the new lesson The class will play Letter charade, metacard with letter and question on it will be given
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson ELICIT to some students,and it will be passed it on .The teacher will select a letter,and
(10 mins) whoever holds the letter will answer the question inside the metacard.

After the activity, the students will be asked the questions:


1. What will happen to the number of atoms if the volume increases?decreases?
2. Will the number volume affects the number of atoms or not?
