1. As a future teacher, how do you think can you help a misbehaving
pupil/student?
A classroom contains a variety of students who are both well-behaved and
misbehaving. It is normal and expected to come across a misbehaving student, and these students require extra attention to get them back on track. This is a shared responsibility of the teacher and the parents of the students, as the students were reared in the academe. Furthermore, as a future educator, I intend to help my misbehaving students by communicating, understanding, and empathizing with them. I've noticed that students' lives do not revolve solely around the four walls of the classroom; they have a life outside of the institutions that influence their behavior in school. Understanding is a devalued act, but it genuinely helps to avoid miscommunication between the students who acted obstinately. For instance, talking with them during free time and hearing their side can help me, as an educator, create strategies that are tailored to the student without dismissing their situation. Making a simple rule without compromising the school's vision, mission, and values can also assist them in finding the right path without the pressure of standardized rules. These are the steps/strategies that I will use as a future educator. I know this is not perfect because student behavior is dynamic and diverse, but I have always believed that there is always room for improvement and that I will always learn through time.
