Bowling for Columbine

The clip shows that firearms and ammunition were the major cause of the attack at

Columbine High School. According to the documentary, the two boys, who were the victims of

the circumstance, were interviewed and depicted the parts of their bodies where the bullets

entered. The bullets paralyzed one boy and he will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life,

while the other boy barely stands. Although the documentary was not clear how the criminals

accessed the guns and bullets, it was suspected that the criminals smuggled the firearms from

smugglers and passed them into the school. Firearms are one of the major problems because the

government has become relent in implementing the gun control policy. Children are allowed to

access dangerous weapons and even smuggle them into school, shooting and killing students and

teachers. The scientific/statistical evidence that one can use to prove the claim that firearms are

the main problem is the number of students killed and injured. No other weapon could have

caused such a damage better than guns.
