1 a. Explain the estimation of earthwork in detail. (10 Marks)

5 a. Define arbitration. Explain different types of arbitration. (10 Marks)
b. Explain the measurement book and different points noted in it. (10 Marks)

6 a. Briefly discuss regarding receipts, fictitious adjustments, accounting procedure of stores,
reserve limit of stocks and issue rate. (10 Marks)
b. Discuss the various powers of arbitrator and the steps involved in process of arbitration.

7 Prepare a detailed estimate of the septic tank with soak pit for 25 acres from the given
drawings. [Refer Fig.Q7(a)]
a. Calculate the quantities of earthwork, cement concrete, brickwork, cement plaster.
