Confirm the High Capacity Unit and the Finisher are recognized by the printer

Confirm the settings of the Finisher paper ejection tray is indicated/
recognized in the displayed screen. Change the paper ejection as
necessary.

 Transportation
When transporting the printer by truck, cover the whole units with quilting covers for transportation. When fixing the units in the container of a truck, fix them
with belts while the surfaces shown below touch the wall. Make sure to put buffer pads at the contact points between the belts/wall surfaces and the units.

Service support mode is a service dedicated mode that can be started by a
special operation, and allows you to execute functions including adjustment,
inspection, and individual action check functions.

Before starting troubleshooting, check the following essential items.
 Does the installation site satisfy the requirements for the product?
 Installation space
 Temperature and humidity
 Does the paper used meet the specifications for the product?
 Are the consumables genuine Epson consumables for the product?
 Visually check inside the product for dust and dirt. Have they not accumu-
lated too much?
 Is the latest version of firmware used?
 Is the paper smooth? Visually check the paper for fold, curl, and crease.
