2. How long does it take for you to travel to work based on your mode of transportation?

4. Which among the three variables, location,travel time and motivation, influence tardiness of employees?

RESEARCH DESIGN

For this study, the researcher has chosen the following study framework in order to

attain the main objective.

1. Descriptive Research Design: The researcher will gather, analyze, and present collected

data;

1.1 Demographic Profile of respondents (age, gender, years of experience, and status

of employment)

1.2 Distance, in kilometers, of the location of employees’ location from the office

1.3 Travel time, in minutes, every morning based on their mode of transportation

1.4 Motivation, in terms of rating and their reason behind, in going to work daily.

2. Correlational research design: Of which the researcher will establish a relationship

between the independent and dependent variables, and statistical analysis techniques

calculate the relationship between them.

PARTICIPANTS OF THE STUDY AND CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

The researcher would like to determine the response from the employees of the

following specified demographic, namely; a. no age limit, b. no gender bias, c. regardless of

years in experience, and d. status of employment (Job Order and Budgetary).

Specifically, the response will be coming from the following sections in the said

division;

1. Highways and Design Section

2. Road Right of Way Section
