Vision of the University:

The center of excellence and development in research, instruction, production, and


extension services for progressive leadership transcending global technological, business and
industry driven education.

Mission of the University:

Provides advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, industrial
trade, teacher education, agriculture, fishery, forestry, engineering, aeronautics and land-based
programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology and other relevant fields of
study. It shall undertake research, production and extension services and provide progressive
leadership across the areas of specialization for global empowerment.

Goal of the College:

1. Provide Complementation and continuity of the undergraduate programs.


2. Cater of the need of the technology and oriented leaders who are and would be
occupying managerial positions in higher, educational institutions, technical-
vocational institutions, industry, agriculture, fishery and related sectors;
3. Contribute to the attainment of regional and national goals through research-based
technologies towards quality life.
4. Accelerate of high level professionalism and globally competitive technology culture.

Objectives of the Program:

Step up participation of educational leaders in value and institution building through


relevant research, scholarly endeavors and production of authentic educational services.
Produce knowledge-based and globally competent human resource who are reasonably
flexible and attuned to the latest technology needs; strengthen academe and industry partnership;
and spur effective and efficient technology management.

Description of the Course

The course is an application of social science perspective and methodologies to


education relation to developments.
General objectives:

1. Identify the philosophy, goals and objectives of education in relation to


national development;
2. Criticize the application of social science perspective and methodologies to
education in relation to national development ; and
3. Have a broader understanding on the complexities of education and national
development
