At the end of 60-minutes lesson, the pupils are expected to:
a. identify the members of the solar system through oral recitation;
b. appreciate the importance of each member of solar system through answering the oral recitation; and
c. illustrate and label the solar system for Grade-5 pupils/characterized the planets through “Mini pageant”
group activity for the Grade-6 pupils.

1. Greetings and Opening Prayer

Good morning class!

Let us all stand for our prayer. May I
request Mylene to lead the prayer.
Mylene: Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hollowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come;
Thy Will be done on earth as it in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but
deliver us from evil. Amen.
