On February 11th, 2023, the CWTS students from the Generosity section met

in room 403 on the fourth floor of the CIC building. Our lesson began with a
prayer, and then Sir Butlig, our lecturer, started out by defining community,
which will be the subject of our next community service activities. He
discussed to us that the components of a community are made up of
population, history, culture, and structure. The primary goal of this activity is
community service, which is what is meant by community immersion; as
students, we assist the selected community as best we can and offer
suggestions on how to address their issues. We can integrate several ways to
acquire information. We could conduct house visits, interact with particular
families, hold formal discussions with groups, go to social events, help with
production tasks, and a lot more. It will aid us in better understanding the
community's purpose as well as the lives of its residents. A handbook on what
to do and not do during the service was also provided. Our instructor handed
out worksheets for us to do in groups while applying what we had learned
throughout the discussion after discussing the next actions with the leaders of
each subgroup. This task was exciting because there was a time constraint.
Our ability to complete the assignment successfully required cooperation, and
I believe that each team member's performance and knowledge contribution
were significant factors in this. The task was successfully completed. Sir
Butlig questioned us to confirm that our answers were accurate and revealed
the correct answer. The checking was quick and interactive since everyone
was prepared to do so. Overall, the class at the time was full of learning and
enjoyment.
