Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause a lot of illnesses, ranging from the

common cold to more serious infections caused by Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-related
Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-related Coronavirus
(SARS-CoV). COVID-19 spread through infected people's respiratory droplets. If other people
contact the infectious droplets or inhale the aerosols, they can become infected with the virus.
As a result, wearing face masks is effective in preventing the spread. A face mask also provides
a sense of security. People are more protected and reassured that they are not in contact with
infectious diseases. Also, handwashing is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of
COVID-19. According to the CDC, soap and friction help lift dirt, grease, and
microbes—including COVID-19 disease-causing germs—from the skin so they can rinse off of
hands. When soap and water are not available, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is the next best
option. At least 60% alcohol should be present in your sanitizer. Otherwise, it will not effectively
kill germs. Furthermore, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the practice of social
distancing entails staying at home and away from others as much as possible. As communities
reopen and people return to the streets, the term "physical distancing" (rather than "social
distancing") is being used to emphasize the importance of staying at least 6 feet away from
others and wearing face masks. We are all in this together, and we must all do our part to
reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading and to contribute to the health of our campus
community. We understand that we may make a mistake or forget to do something, but we must
constantly and consciously monitor our actions, learn from our mistakes and failures, and do
what is necessary. The only way to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to follow health protocols.
