In Synchronous Class Meetings

Specific Google Meet/ live video considerations:

a. Sign in at least 5-10 minutes early. If class starts at 12:00. Don’t

log-in at 12:00.
b. Try to keep your body still.
c. Make sure to mute the audio unless you are speaking
d. Look into the camera.
e. Speak clearly, don’t mumble
f. Allow time after your question has been asked

b. Testing/Examination

There will be four (4) periodic examinations: Prelims, Mid-Term, Semi-

Final and Final. The school strictly implements the “No Permit, No Exam
Policy”. It is therefore imperative that students pay their school fees/dues
and secure a Permit prior to examination schedules.

3. Virtual Classroom Rules

3.1 As an online student communication is a bit different than in a face-to-
face setting. The difference is that most communication is via written text
in an online environment. Since you are missing body language cues and
immediate feedback from your “listener”, it is important to understand
some common rules for good online etiquette. This ensures that the
message you intend to convey is received correctly.
c. Be respectful.
d. Be aware of strong language, all caps and exclamation points.
e. Grammar and spelling matter. In an educational settings (even online)
keep the communication formal. Written communication should be
scholarly and reflect writing style.
