BSA 101 “Reaction Paper”

Family is precious and essential to us. We should never underestimate the value and
importance of our family. We all begin our lives in a family, where we can develop into
successful individuals over time. Family members play a crucial role in determining a person's
success or failure in life because they provide a support system and encouragement.
Meanwhile, the movie "Mitchells vs. the Machines" shows how technology breaks up
relationships with others and our families. Additionally, it shows how we interact with machines.
It responds to our fears regarding new technology, mocks the hype and idealism that pervade
digital technology, and reminds us that outdated technology is sometimes superior to devices
that are overdesigned and unnecessarily "smart."

A dysfunctional family is the focus of the movie "The Mitchells vs. the Machines," and Katie
Mitchell, the oldest daughter, wants to be a filmmaker. She wanted to make a career out of
making funny videos for YouTube when she was young. She applies to a California film school
and is accepted. However, her father, Rick Mitchell, was unable to comprehend his daughter's
enthusiasm for filmmaking. Their distance began to narrow as a result of this. Since his dad isn't
keen on the profession that her little daughter wants.
Home Robots, Mark Bowman's most recent creation, is unveiled in the interim. These AI-
powered robots are multitasking machines that can do anything. However, Mark's previous
invention, artificial intelligence known as PAL, is dissatisfied and, to exact vengeance, infects
the source code of robots, transforming them into enemies of humans. A machine apocalypse
strikes the world. A family's efforts to save the world and repair their relationships are explored
in greater detail in the film. Before the Mitchells can complete their task of shutting down PAL
Labs, a video of Katie expressing her displeasure and indifference toward her family, particularly
her father Rick, is leaked by Pal. The confrontation breaks Rick's heart. Shortly after Katie finds
out, she realizes that Robots' dog Monchi is causing a short circuit. In a heartbreaking
argument, Katie considers the sacrifices her family, particularly her father, has made for her.
She knows that family will always be there for you, no matter how hard things get. Additionally,
they aid the Mitchells in uploading Monchi's video, resulting in a shortage in all of Pal's bots. By
dropping the phone into a glass of water, Katie destroys Pal. This is how the Mitchells protect
the world from Machines. In the end, Katie's dream is eventually accepted by her father. She
said that "No matter what happens, her family will always be there for support," The father and
daughter come to terms with one another.

In general, this film is so remarkable that it will teach you about the effects of technology on us.
All in all, technology is amazing and has made our lives and the world a better place. The
majority of technology's harmful effects are caused by its misuse. The way we use technology
can either benefit us or harm other people. We need to use technology in a more healthy and
disciplined way rather than placing blame on the tool. Because of this, technology can continue
to enhance our lives. Family is more important than ever in this day and age when everything
has lost its meaning. Even though the world is becoming more advanced and modern, the
meaning of family has not changed.
