HOW DO I GET MINERAL MINING INVESTORS OR BUYERS IN MY

REGIONS
ATTENTION: MR PASCAL NDIZEYE
Do a whole lot of technical work to demonstrate to potential
investors that you have a viable project and that they will make
money by investing. Provide a compelling story and you will have
the investors, do nothing and no-one will be interested.

To be clear, technical work is:

 Geological mapping
 Drilling and assaying
 Building a geological model
 Building a block model and calculating a JORC / NI
43–101 or SAMREC compliant Resource
 Mineralogical investigations to determine the
deportment of the gold and its mineral associations
 Metallurgical test work to determine a processing
flowsheet and parameters such as grind size and
reagent regime
 Geotechnical investigations
 Hydrological studies
 Hydrogeological investigations
 Geochemistry of the ore, waste, and tailings
 Scoping study = What could it be?
 Pre-feasibility Study = What should it be?
 Feasibility Study = What will it be?
 Each of the studies will refine the costs and allow a
financial model to be built that demonstrates to
yourself and an investor, that this is a viable and
robust project that should go into production.
Many of the people who approach me looking for investors have
done none of this work. They often have a mine that they are
working on a small scale producing gold and naively believe that
because they are producing gold and they want to scale to produce
more gold, that this alone is a compelling reason for someone to
invest! Of course, they can’t even tell an investor how much more
gold there is there to mine because they haven’t drilled it. So
it could run for another five years or it could run out tomorrow,
and neither the miner nor the investor has any idea, which it is,
so the investors decline the “opportunity”
