1) Please describe the typical phases that employees go through when they try to apply new

skills learned through training when they return to their jobs post-training.

There are 3 main phases that are explained in the text: experimenting, competence and mastery.
Each phase means something and it is important as it helps the employee to develop himself and his
skills. The first phase, experimenting, people are trying to apply their skills and to see if they need a
change or not. In the second phase, employees are developing their skills in order to become better
and better every day. The last phase talks about how people who achieved this goal, are able to be
coaches and to help others.
