Our teacher made us a promise…

On Monday Croatia was playing Japan in the knockout stage of the world cup, 3.E students didn’t
think they would watch the match in class, so they decided to skip Croatian class to watch it.

The game was stressful, but Croatia managed to win and go to the quarterfinals. And so did the
students, at the start of the Extra time they realized that others were watching in school, so they
went back.

Later on, the students spoke with their professor about the skipping class situation, and he promised
to excuse our skipping if Croatia beat Brazil in the quarterfinals.

The game was on Friday, and we all watched it, but somehow Croatia pulled through again and
everyone was happy for 2 reasons. Croatia is in the semi-final and the students won’t get into
trouble and will be excused.
