MY PRACTICE TEACHING DAILY EXPERIENCE

Insights/Learnings:

February 13. Was our first day duty in Highschool Department so glad that we
have the same mentor before Mrs Labrado. The first thing we do in her morning class the
Faith section is to assist the students to the AVR ,they will continue watch the movie
entitled THE MOULIN ROUNGE. The students we’re really focus on the movie also most
them taking down notes.The students are paying attention and Listening to teacher when
maam Labrado explaining about what happen to Satine and Christian. The next section
we assist to the avr are Section Hope, most of them are really engage the movie and
their's 3 students who are sleeping during that time.The last Section are Gallileo. I
observed that the students really like the movie the way they shout when there’s fighting
in the movie, when Satine and Christian fight for their love to each other. Most of the
students also taking down notes about the characters and what there role in the play.

Above all The movie find Interesting to the students. The transitioning of the
theater really catch the attention of the students.the qoute says it all “ The greatest thing
you’ll ever learn is to love and be loved in return, “The line states that there is no greater
lesson or concept we will ever learn than loving and being loved in return. As I age, the
call to love others is not necessarily easier, but maybe more of a way of life.The film,
Moulin Rouge, works because it supports its energy, love, style and wonderful set designs
with solid acting, captivating song sequences.

Insights/Learnings

February 14 was our Second day in Junior Highschool Department and also it
was Valentines day.Maam Labrado says that we have a short time because they will
have a meeting with atty Go .After giving instruction to the students that they will have a
summative test on Feb 15, She wants us to prepared some activities to the students
The activities goes like this we will give some sticky notes to the students and they will
wrote their feelings on it after writing they will post it on the freedom wall,and we will
pick 5 sticky notes and read it, the second activity is that we will give them broken
hearts and they will find their partner using the puzzle. The prizes is that we gave them
chocolates. The activities went smooth most of the students from Faith to Gallileo are
participating the game, and as I can see they really enjoyed the activities.

February 15 Was our third day in Junior Highschool ,in the section Faith maam
Labrado give them time to study before having their summative test, and yes most of
them are having passing score.The next section is Hope we separate their chairs,we
gave them time 15 minutes to study during the test it really caught my attention when
there is students giving answers to one another and I told them to stop doing that so
they focus reading on their own test papers . The last Section was Gallileo the same
instructions we did the last two sections .They we’re so quite upon answering their test
they really focus and most of them are having passing score.

Feb 16 was our fourth day .during this day we are revising some test paper
because their’s a question that the answer is not their in the choices given so maam
Labrado told us to change..In the afternoon maam Labrado meet us and then she
assigned to us topic for our demo.

Insights/Learnings

Last week Maam Labrado informed us that the students would have their
Mastery Exams on February 20,2023 which was our second week in Junior Highschool.
So, at 7:00 a.m., we go to Gallileo Sections to collect their assessments and instruct
them to study their notes.

The Gallileo Section is very quiet while answering, and they follow the rules
that Maam Labrado has given them. We St’s help the students by distributing test
papers, and other student teachers are checking the test papers in English (Faith,
Gallileo). After they finish answering the two Mastery Exams, Maam Labrado gives
them 15 minutes to eat their snacks, and she also prepares snacks for the students so
that they do not go out. We have a meeting in the afternoon.

Students had their second day of Mastery exam on February 21,they will have
three subjects to take and then they will go home, so they will have time to study and
prepare for tomorrow’s exam. The exam started at exactly 7:30 we distribute test papers
to them during their examination maam Labrado checked the lesson plan of batch one,
