I want to say a big thank you to my professor, Dr. Jesusa Pampilon, for
helping me a lot with this opportunity to observed. She gave me good advice
and support all the time, making my task better.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the Principal, Sr. Elisa Fausto.
for providing me with all the facility that was required.

Thanks to my classmates too, they gave me good ideas and amazing advice.
I also want to thank you to my CT, Mrs. Abigail Bartolome, for giving me this
amazing opportunity to learn more.

I would also like to thank my parents, partner, and my friends who helped
me a lot in finalizing this observation within the limited time frame.

To Mrs. Emilita V. Juan for her love and care to us, their constant
encouragement and understanding during this journey. Your belief in my
abilities has given me the confidence to explore new ideas and push the
boundaries of my creativity.

Lastly to my fellow students in Grade 1, 2, 3, and 4, that inspired me to

teach, help other students and teachers. I am very grateful to them for their
contribution. They gave me the joy of teaching, which I will never forget and
will incorporate into my teaching one day.

First Week Observation

Today is our orientation and today is also the day of our first day of observation
for our field study 1 and 2. At the first of our orientation, our guide was Ma'am
Emilita V. Juan, she assigned us to ours was his room, I was from the Bachelor of
Early Childhood Education and I went to Grade two students. When we were assigned
by my partner, Airielle, we were nervous but the excitement was more dominant. We
met our CT, Ma'am Abby, on the first day she approached us about what we were
going to do, she explained to us what we had to do, because on the first day of our
observation she was leaving and had a meeting to attend to. He gave us a task before
he left, he handed us a piece of paper and there were the ones he asked his students to
do, from grade one to grade four. On the first day, it was very tiring to go up and
down the stairs. But still I enjoyed it a lot because I also experienced being a teacher
on the first day, how to teach, and how to socialize with children. I know that this is
not the reality yet but I am happy that I experienced it and in the future. that day. And
also what I observed on my first day of observing, the children have their own
behaviors. There are also children who listen to what they are asked to do and others
who don't, there are also children who can finish what the teacher has done and others
who need help and attention in what they aredoing. And most of them are super cute
and kind. I hope they are still like that until our last day.

Second Week Observation

In our 2nd week of observation, ma'am abi is with us. If in the first week we were
the ones doing what ma'am abi had to do, now we are with her. While he was
teaching, we were observing what was being done in the classroom. I observed ma'am
abi's classroom management, her teaching skills and how she handles the classes.
Every time we come in and the class is about to start, there is always a prayer every
morning, and the good feeling that your students will say "good morning" to you also
makes you sleepy, the same goes for lunch and when the children go home. In the
morning, ma'am abby makes sure that the children are energetic so she uses
energizers, she prepares a video for the children to dance. And after her class in grade
2, we went to grade 1 with my partner, we couldn't accompany maam to another grade
level because I was sick and went to the clinic and went home.

Third Week Observation

In our 3rd week, before the students' exam, ma'am abi gave activities and
assessment before the exam, she also recited to the grade fours in their subject
Christian Living, in my observation ma'am he motivates the students to remember
what they studied. They are reviewed by their teachers, they also have revision lessons
to remember what they studied. Before they took the exam, ma'am gave a reminder
and sent the things that ma'am abi needed which are crayons, folders, pencils, and
erasers, which the students will use in the exam. Ma'am Abi makes sure that all her
students understand. So before taking the exam, students know what they will do in
the two days of their exam.

Fourth Week Observation

4th week, this week is what we've been waiting for, Teacher's Day! We have been
very busy this whole week because Ma'am Abi is short on time and needs to discuss
the things she hasn't taught yet. There was also a sudden announcement that there
would be a special exam, so we student teachers helped our CTs but everyone focused
more on grade 1, we helped ma'am peny to support the children in answering, from
reading the instructions until the questions we read carefully so that garde 1 can
understand and it is up to them to answer. When the following days were over, we
were still busy inserting the surprise for ma'am abi into our days which is the very
special day teacher's day. Together with ma'am abi's grade 2 students, we prepared a
small surprise for ma'am and ma'am abi was very happy because the children were our
helpers and we really worked hard. There the 2nd graders danced and we also thanked
ma'am abi. It was also super fun because even on that teacher's day, I also experienced
being a teacher who would give students chocolates and perfume, so I super enjoyed
that program.

Fifth Week Observation

In our 5th week here, the children are already preparing and reviewing, because
they reciting have a periodical test, I observed that almost all the teachers are
reviewing the children,, reading lectures and ma'am reminding those who have let
them study, so that their brains can refresh what they should remember when they take
the exam. here their exam is three days, we go in early and when we are not doing
anything in the library and check what they did or what they answered, after that we
go back to the room, in the next days exam we prepare my partner to staple the test
paper then after they answer, ma'am abi will give us the answer key and we will check
while ma'am abi and the grade 2 answer the new questions, these days ma 'am abi and
asked us to extend because he was having trouble checking the test paper, so he asked
us to check it so we wouldn't be overwhelmed, it was super fun but it was tiring and
our whole body was hurting and I knew that at first that's it and one day we will do the
same.

Sixth Week Observation

It's our 6th week, this is the week that is also our last week, here we are getting
ready to give to ma'am abi and the grade 2 students we have. My partner and I were
thinking about what would be nice to give ma'am abi because in the past month we
noticed that she always likes to drink water so we gave her a tumbler and the children
because they always lose their pencil eraser or sometimes they borrow what we gave
them. It's fun to receive words of thanks from people who appreciate what we give,
because they know we worked hard for it. We were so happy that we were also
emotional because it was the last day that we would see them, even though ma'am
joked with us saying that we should go back or extend, we were still sad because we
were done observing. I had a lot of fun learning a lot from the teachers, especially
from our CT, ma'am abi. We will also miss scolding the children, making the children
laugh, playing games when there is nothing to do, we will also miss taking them
outside when we get home. In that classroom I had a family, ma'am abi became my
mother when I was just starting to observe and grades 1 to 4 were my younger siblings
who made me happy and built my journey in becoming a student teacher and in our
subject field study 1 and 2. Thanks for the advice ma'am abi that we can handle it and
one day we will meet again and we will be teaching together. Thank you because I
had an experience that I will never forget.
