This was the first day of our deployment.

We arrived at Esperanza National

High School at exact 1 pm and while we are waiting outside the library we’re
talking and discussing what PST’s should do and do not, in what year level
we can observe, and share some ideas about Esperanza National High
School. I know everyone was being nervous because it was our first time
being a PST’s, that there are some questions in our mind because of the

At exactly 1:30 pm we the PST’s are completed and out Team Leader, Sir
Sean Porcadilla from Social Study divided us into two groups by major to
know who is in the SHS department and JHS department and I am in JHS

department, after that Sir Samsudin Abdullah, the assistant principal of
Senior High School in ENHS called up a meeting with the department head
of every major and the Junior High School Assistant Principal to welcome us
in the ENHS and introduced us to our Department Head.
The Department Head in Filipino was Ma’am Beth Pendon, after Sir
Samsudin introduced as, our Department Head spread us in different year
level and I am in Grade 7 Pluto under Ma’am Charlene Jane Aceres. Ma’am
Charlene was my closest teacher back then when I am in grade 9 in Datu
Sailila National High School because she was a volunteered teacher back
JOHAINA L. ALI then at Datu Sailila NHS. And after Ma’am Beth introduced my colleagues to
PRE-SERVICE TEACHER their Resource Teacher I am at Filipino faculty waiting for my Resource
Teacher because Ma’am Beth said that Ma’am Charlene was at her class
period. After Ma’am Charlene's class, she went to the Filipino faculty to see

me and she was surprised and asked me why I chose this major and told me
that my answer should be because she is my idol, and we both laughed. After
 I met my Resource Teacher she wrote her schedule on a piece of paper and
gave it to me, she also fixed my schedule in observation and said who was
the teacher I observed, and what section the teacher was, after that she left
the schedule to me and leave because we have orientation program at
Computer Laboratory at exactly 3 pm.
All the PST together with the Assistant School Principal of JHS, Sir Jose
Ibanez, and SHS, Sir Samsudin Abdullah, Sir Wenzel Kenn Sanchez the one
who organized the program, and the Principal of ENHS, Sir Eskak M. Delna,
CES are at the Computer Laboratory, the program was started with a prayer
and welcome address of the School Principal, after that Sir Samsudin and Sir
Ibanez discussed the responsibilities of Pre-Service Teachers and gave the
total number of Students and Teachers of ENHS S.Y 2023-2024, and also
they discussed the things to be complied by the Field Study Students, and
after that they gave a motivation message and closing remarks. That will be
the end of the orientation.
After the orientation when I arrived home, I was crying and had a breakdown
in my room because I didn’t know what plan should I do. I kept on asking
myself if I could survive or not since I was naive and a shy type of person.
September 28 DAY 1 OF OBSERVATION
 This was the first day that I will be observed in different classrooms with
different teachers and students. I arrived at school before the first-period
time.
 Today my first observation schedule in different rooms, which is my first
period today was at the Grade 7 Sun section, under Ma’am Beth Pendon, and
the second period was Ma’am Mariejoe Palomares at the Grade 7 Uranus
section, and the third period of class, I observed Ma’am Generose Bermudez,
and my last observation was at the Grade 11 STEM Pascal section under Sir
Ivan Calledo.
 As I observed the teacher's and the student's behavior they had different
strategies during the discussion, and the teacher needed to be a joker to catch
the student's interest. The behavior of the students is good.
September 29 DAY 2 OF OBSERVATION
Today is Friday and it’s my first time attending the flag ceremony of ENHS, since
September 27 is a holiday, because they have scheduled their Flag ceremony every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
At 6:40 am, I am already at Esperanza National High School (ENHS). The first thing
I do when I enter ENHS is my attendance in our Daily Logbook located near the
main gate of ENHS before I go to my Resource Teacher's room to put my things and
go to the field for the flag ceremony since 6:50 am was the call out for students and
teachers to go on the field for the flag ceremony. ENHS is huge and has many
students, but I’m not surprised anymore since I graduated my Senior High School
year here.
After the flag ceremony, I went to the room where I could do my first observation in
the morning, it was the first period of class 7:20-8:05 am, and it was shortened time
because of the upcoming school activities which were the Intramurals and High
School Days of ENHS.
I went to Sir Ivan Calledo’s room, Grade 11 HUMSS Balagtas to observe, Sir Ivan
was my teacher back then in Filipino sa Piling Larangan, he was the best Filipino
teacher I’ve known when I was in Senior High School. I remember that I loved
Filipino subjects during my Elementary and Junior High School years but when I
entered SHS year, I hated it because it was hard for me to understand some words in
Filipino, it’s so deep, but now I took this course. Sir Ivan handled his advisory very
well, he was so organized and a joker sometimes when his/her students explain in
English words or can pronounce one English word because they don’t know what the
word is in Filipino. Sir Ivan was the teacher who you can feel comfortable in the
class and not feel embarrassed when you fail to explain it in Filipino, he said that
“use the Filipino language as much as you can do and it’s okay when you use your
mother tongue or Ilonggo, just don’t use the English language when you are about to
explain”. The next observation which is the second period of class 8:05-8:50, I went
in the Grade 9 Blue section under Ma’am Jingle De Dios. Ma’am Jingle was very
kind and she handled her students very well, she gave a brief discussion about their
topic only and gave a quiz. I didn’t know what the topic was all about since my
colleagues and I were outside observing her because the room was crowded and there
were no vacant chairs.
After observing two teachers, I went to the canteen near grade 7 STE since it was
recess time and my next observation was in grade 7 STE B. After recess I went to the
next teacher I will observe which is my Resource Teacher at her class in Grade 7
STE B 9:10-9:55 am, and it was the third period of class. STE students are known as
intelligent, advanced students and more responsible than the other sections, they were
quiet during the discussion and listened very well, and they were also active in terms
of when the teacher asked a question. The 4 th teacher I observed was the head of the
Filipino department, Ma’am Beth Pendon at Grade 7 Sun section, it was a fourth
period of class 9:55-10:40 am, she is a jolly teacher and has a well-modulated voice,
she is a friendly and sometimes a joker for the students feel more comfortable with
her.
The last teacher I observed was Ma’am Mariejo Palomares at the Grade 7 Uranus
section, it was the last period in the morning since it’s a shortened time and the class
has 45 minutes. Ma’am Mariejo was from Sultan Kudarat State University-Access
Campus but she moved to DepEd when I was in my 1 st year of college. Ma’am
Mariejo has a similarity in how Sir Ivan handled his/her students. During her quiz
time she said to me that to catch the attention of the students, you need to be a clown
since it was on the lower section.
Before the observations, at first, I didn’t know what to do. My resource teacher got a
headache because of me because she didn’t know why I kept on entering different
classrooms since she gave me a schedule where I could do my observations, but
according to our Supervisors and the Assistant Principal of SHS during our
orientation, we the PST’s need to observed two classes under our Resource Teacher
and another three classes in different teachers. So, I got nervous because my RT gave
me only 2-3 schedules for different teachers and 1 for her, so I decided to go with my
colleague who observed in other rooms. I thought that their Resource Teachers
allowed them to observe and schedule themselves freely that’s why I go on by myself
searching for where I can observe because they said in every observation you should
have five observations in a day. Then my Resource teacher explained to me that I
don’t have to be hard on myself because she knows how it feels, she has been
through it, then after that she fixed again my schedule because she felt sorry for me
because of the distance between the rooms where I observed, and so that I could
observe three different teachers in Filipino and two for her class that not hassle for
me to rush.

This will be the end of my 2 day of observation since all my observations were in
the morning period. In the afternoon I decided to stay in my Resource Teacher’s
room which was in grade 7 section Pluto to answer my Learning Episodes.
In conclusion, I can say that to be a teacher, you need to be flexible and you should
be more patient with your students since they are diverse.
October 2, 2023 DAY 3 OF OBSERVATION
Today was my first fixed schedule observation in different rooms, which is my first
period today was my Resource Teacher, Ma’am Charlene Jane Aceres advisory the
Grade 7 Pluto section, the second period was Ma’am Dona Castor in the Grade 7
Halley section, then after the second period was the recess time which has 20 minutes
only and after recess which was the third period of class, I observed my Resource
Teacher again in Grade 7 STE section, my fourth observation period was Ma’am
Beth Pendon on Grade 7 Mercury section, and my last observation was at the
afternoon on Grade 7 Venus section under Ma’am Queenie Joy Lomboy.
As I observed the teacher's and the student's behavior they had different strategies
during the discussion, and the teacher needed to be a joker to catch the student's
interest. The behavior of the students sometimes is good and sometimes their attitude
is too much. As I compared the different Grade 7 sections to the 7 STE, I can say that
Grade 7 STE was more responsible, organized, well-disciplined, and active because
they are in the first section. Also, it is hard to handle a section where you don’t know
what strategies you do or the students themselves are the problem since I observed
grade 7 only, four lower sections, and one for STE. As future teachers, we need to be
a clown or a joker sometimes to catch our students’ attention and for us to know how
we can manage their behavior.
October 3, 2023 DAY 4 OF OBSERVATION

It was my day 4th of observation, my Resource Teacher was absent and I am the one
who handle her schedule since she had an emergency. The night before this day she
chatted me that she wasn’t able to go on duty because she had an emergency, she
decided to turn the opportunity to me to handle her 4 classes, she gave me a copy of
activity and the next lessons to write, so I can instruct and look her students. The
students in different section was so messy and noisy except for STE section, I always
kept on explaining what to do in their activity and what to write in the lesson that my
Resource Teacher gave, and that will be the end of my 4th day in ENHS.
October 5, 2023 TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION
Today was a celebration for teachers’ day and the ENHS SSG prepared a program for
the teachers to feel that they are special and love. All students and teachers are on the
gym in view of the Teacher’s Day Celebration Program, in the middle of the program
all students gave their letters and gifts to their adviser and had a group class picture.
After morning program prepared by the SSG Officers of ENHS, the school principal
prepared free lunch food for the teachers and PST’s with the help of SSG Officers
and after that the teachers went to their rooms because their students prepare a small
celebration and surprised for their adviser. And we the PST’s wait until the afternoon
program and some PST’s went to SKSU Access Campus to join the SKSU Access
Acquaintance Party.
In the afternoon program was for the teachers and PST’s only, the program was
started with a group intermission of every year level teachers, and after that
intermission number, they had a raffle that the reward you can get was a classroom
garments or house garments for every teacher’s that been drawn. All teachers are
happy that time and in the middle of the raffle, we got again a food, they said it was a
meryenda for every teachers and PST’s ordered by the school principal, and since
some of our colleagues are attended Acquaintance party in SKSU Access, Sir
Samsudin said that we can bring home the food, so that the food was not being
wasted. And that will be the end of my 5th day in ENHS.
October 6, 2023 DAY 5 OF OBSERVATION
Today is Friday and it’s my 5th day of observation as a Field Study Student Teacher.
My observation schedule today is similar on my day 3 of observation except for
Ma’am Lomboy because my last period today was Ma’am Mariejo Palomares. I only
observed on Ma’am Lomboy class in Grade 7 Venus section every Monday.
As I observed today’s observation are the following:

 All the students are early in the class since it’s Friday today and they have
flag racing ceremony.
 Before starting the class, the teacher collected first the fees for the upcoming
school activities which is the intramurals and High School Day of ENHS and
the attendance of the students at the same time.
 The teacher gave an activity and most of the student are actively participated
and followed the teacher’s instruction about their activity and answer it
quietly until the end of the time.

Grade 7 Halley section (8:05-8:50 am)
 Before starting the class discussion about their new topic, the teacher
collected first the assignment of the students.
 After collecting the assignments, the teacher started the discussion by
questioning the students “Ano ang Dula?” and some students raised their
hands to answer. The teacher agreed to the students answer and after that she
played a video example of Dula titled “Sa Pula, Sa Puti” by Francisco “Soc”
Rodrigo and the students are watching quietly while taking down notes some
important details about the Dula presented.
Sa Pula, Sa Puti is all about people’s frailty in a circumstance that familiar
across the country. The protagonist of this story was Kulas, he was a
sabungero or a cock fighter, and developed ad addiction to cockfighting. This
story chronicles a realization of the folly of gambling.
 After watching the story of Sa Pula. Sa Puti, the teacher asked the students if
they understand the story, what was the title of the story, who are the
characters and what was there stands in the story, and all the students
answered in chorus.
 Before the teacher end the class, she gave an activity about the story they
watched and passed it before time.

Grade 7 STE Banzon section (9:10-9:55 am)
 As we all know the students in STE was more active and responsible than the
lower sections.
 As I observed the class todays period, since my RT and I are 5 minutes late,
she started the discussion by recalling the past lesson before she began to the
new lesson.
 The students are quiet and listened carefully to the teacher and answer the
questions what the teacher asked.
 I remembered before we enter the STE Banzon section, my Resource
Teacher said that STE section is different with the other sections, STE asked
a question only if they don’t understand what was being discussed and if they
are quiet that means they understand it.

Grade 7 Sun section (9:55-10:40 am)
 Since I was late in the class, as I enter on Ma’am Beth class, she was in the
middle of discussing about their new lesson and asking some questions about
the lesson.
 The students are actively participated in the class and the teacher strategies
was obtained. The teacher was being a friendly and a joker to catch the full
attention of the students.
Ma’am Mariejo Palomares
Grade 7 Uranus section (10:40-11:25 am)
 Since I was late in my next observation, the teacher was in the middle of
discussing and instructing the students on how they do the activity she had
given and she presented an example on the TV Screen for the student to
understand what activity they are doing. The activity that Ma’am Mariejo
gave was “10 years from now, what am I?”
 And some of the students, especially the boys at the back are stubborn and
kept on asking about the activity in a joker way and the teacher was giving
more patience and answer them jokingly, but then they actively participated
in the said activity.
October 9, 2023 DAY 6 OF OBSERVATION (Monday)
Today is Monday and it’s my 6th day of observation as a Field Study Student
Teacher.
My observation schedule today is similar on my day 3 of observation.
As I observed today’s observation are the following:

 All the students are early in the class since it’s Monday today and they have

the discussion, they just sit and listened to Ma’am Charlene until the end of

 Ma’am Dona started her class discussion by recalling their past lesson Sa
Pula, Sa Puti and after that she gave an activity about it and instruct the
students how should they answer it.
 After the students done with their activity, the teacher instructed them to do a
counter clockwise to check their activity by their classmates and after
checking their activities the teacher listed their score.
  That will be the end of my observation on Ma’am Dona.  Ma’am Lomboy was not feeling well since she had a headache but she
Ma’am Charlene Jane Aceres (Resource Teacher) discussed her lesson well.
Grade 7 STE Banzon section (9:10-9:55 am)  As I observed on Ma’am Lomboy’s class, the students are messy and noisy,
 As I observed the class todays period, since my RT was late in her they are also stubborn but at the same time, they are listening to Ma’am
discussion, as we enter in the STE Banzon section, she started her new lesson Lomboy’s discussion about their topic for today until the end of the period.
Sa Pula, Sa Puti an example of Dula (roleplay) played in TV, but before that
the teacher instructed first the students to take down notes about the video
they watched because after watching Sa Pula, Sa Puti by Francisco “Soc”
Rodrigo, the teacher might give an activity.
 The students are quiet and listened carefully to the teacher’s discussion.
 When the teacher discussion was over, the teacher gave an activity about the
lesson for the remaining time.

Grade 7 Mercury section (9:55-10:40 am)
 Ma’am Beth had a vacant on Grade 7 Sun every Monday, so my Resource
Teacher decided to put me in Grade 7 Mercury and still under Ma’am Beth
Pendon.
 The teacher started her new lesson by giving a motivation activity first and
then after that she started the discussion about Pananaliksik, the definition
and what are the steps in doing Research Paper, she gave an explanation and
example of her experiences and also asked me about my experienced in October 10, 2023 DAY 7 OF OBSERVATION (Tuesday)

doing Research.

My observation schedule today is similar on my day 5 of observation.
As I observed today’s observations are the following:

 As usual before starting the class, the teacher collected the fees for those
students who had not paid yet for the upcoming school activities which is the
Intramurals and High School Day of ENHS, and the attendance of the
students at the same time.
 As I observed the class, most of the students especially the boys were so
messy and noisy, and also, I also noticed this one girl sitting at the back, she
seemed to be left out every time in class and I’d never seen her socialize with
her classmates.
 The teacher started her new lesson Sa Pula, Sa Puti an example of Dula
(roleplay), and played it on TV, but before that, the teacher instructed the
students to take down notes about the video they watched because after
watching Sa Pula, Sa Puti by Francisco “Soc” Rodrigo, the teacher might ask
some questions.
 After the video finished, the teacher asked some questions about Sa Pula, Sa
Puti since the teacher had a remaining time before the end of the class, and
the students answered it correctly.

 Since I was late in Ma’am Marijoe’s class, I entered her classroom in the
middle of her quiz to the students in Grade 7 Uranus. After the students were
done with their quizzes, the teacher instructed them to do a counterclockwise
to check their quiz by their classmates and after checking their activities the
teacher listed their scores.

November 6, 2023 DAY 1 (Monday)

MY
 Today was my first on my FS 402 Journey, I arrived at ENHS at 6:35 in the
morning and I stayed outside of the Library with my friends talking about our
schedule for this journey and our plan for our teaching demonstration, while
we were talking after the flag racing ceremony, I saw my Resource Teacher
going to the Filipino Faculty and she saw me too, she talked to me and said
that she will be not around this week together with the other teachers that
 chosen to be part of the dance because they have a dance practice for the
upcoming competition in the opening program of the fiesta in Esperanza S.K.
 So, she asked me if it was okay that I would be the one to take over her class
in different sections, and I said yes. Then after that, she said that she would
send a lesson for the students to write and the answer key of the exam for the
checking of the student’s exam.
 Since it was already 11 am and it was late for her 3rd period when she sent the
lesson, I replied to her chat and asked if I would be going to her last period
class in the afternoon which is the Grade 7 Perseus section or I will start on
Wednesday, and she replied yes at my first question.
 Before I entered the classroom of Grade 7 Perseus, I asked them first if it was
their time in Filipino subject and they said yes, and then I instructed them
first to arrange their chairs and greeted them good afternoon. After that, they
were seated and I introduced myself and said that I would be their teacher
this week.
 Their room was so hot and lacked of an electric fan, but they got used to it.
 I instructed them to take their notebook in Filipino because they are going to November 8, 2023 DAY 2 (Wednesday)

November 9, 2023 DAY 3
(Thursday)
I arrived at ENHS at 7:00 in the morning and stayed in my Resource
Teacher's room in the Grade 7 Pluto section, as usual, I asked them who
would be the cleaners today inside the classroom and instructed them to
clean first and arranged the chairs properly. I also advised them that the
cleaners outside and inside of the classroom and in the Comfort room should
be cleaned before the class started.
After that, I told them that they would continue to write since they had not
finished it yet and also Ma’am Charlene wasn’t able to send the answer key
to their exam the same with the Grade 7 Saturn section.
In the afternoon since the Grade 7 Perseus was done writing Lesson 2, I just
told them that we will not be having a checking of their test papers because
Ma’am Charlene wasn’t able to send the answer key to their exam, and since
we will not be having a checking of their test papers, I just instructed the
secretary in the Filipino class to list the noisy in class because I will be not
around until tomorrow since I need to answer my remaining learning
episodes.
November 10, 2023 DAY 4 (Friday)
Today is Friday and they have a flag ceremony, I arrived at ENHS at 6:50 in
the morning and stayed in my Resource Teacher’s room while they were
having their flag ceremony.
After the flag ceremony, the students were in the classroom, and as usual, I
instructed them again to clean and arrange the chairs.
Since they were done with writing lesson 2 which is the Antas ng Wika
Batay sa Pormalidad, I just told them to finish their activity in the other
subjects because we will not be having a checking of their test papers.
 In my Resource Teacher’s 3rd period which is in the Grade 7 STE Banzon, as
I entered their classroom, I instructed them to stand and greeted them good
morning, then please be seated and introduced myself, and said that I would
be their teacher today because Ma’am Charlene would not be around.
The students asked if we were going to have a quiz because they hadn’t
reviewed and I said were not, I told them to take their notebook in Filipino
because they were going to write Lesson 2 in 2nd grading which is the Antas
ng Wika Batay sa Pormalidad, and also, I told them that I would be checking
their notebooks before the end of the class period for them to followed my
instruction. Before the end of the class, since they were not done writing,
they took a picture on the tv screen to finish writing the lesson in their
houses.
 After the 3rd period, I directed to the Grade 7 Saturn section since they were
done writing Lesson 2, I just told them that we would not be having a
checking of their test papers because Ma’am Charlene wasn’t able to send
the answer key to their exam, and since we will not be having a checking of November 13, 2023 DAY 5 (Monday)
their test papers, I just instructed the secretary in the Filipino class to list the
noisy in class because I will be not around today in their class. I arrived at ENHS at 6:40 in the morning and stayed in my Resource

Before the class started my Resource Teacher asked me to check the test
papers of the Grade 7 Saturn section, after I was done checking their test
papers, I answered my remaining learning episodes in FS 402.
After my Resource Teacher’s class in her 2nd period in the Grade 7 Perseus
section, she talked to me about my 1st teaching demonstration since last night
I chatted with her about this.
My Resource Teacher said that my 1st teaching demo is on November 20 and
I will conduct all her class schedules that day and she will send my topic to
be discussed in my teaching demo.

November 14, 2023 DAY (Tuesday) November 15, 2023 DAY 6 (Wednesday)

I arrived at ENHS at 7:25 in the morning and stayed in my Resource
Teacher’s room.
While my Resource Teacher was having her class, I started my Lesson Plan
and my topic was Awiting-Bayan at Bulong.
I’m having a hard time completing my Lesson Plan, I don’t know if it’s
correct or not and I don’t know if my motivation and activities match my
objectives,
I arrived at ENHS at 6:40 in the morning and stayed in my Resource
Teacher's room in the Grade 7 Pluto section.
After the Flag ceremony, the students were back in their perspective
classroom.
Since I’m not doing anything, I just checked my Lesson Plan and made a
temporary PowerPoint presentation for my teaching demonstration.
After my Resource Teacher was done with her class in 1st period, it was her
vacancy in 2nd period. I asked her if it was okay that I would be conducting
my first teaching demonstration in two sections, one for her advisory and the
second for her Grade 7 STE B, and she said yes. I was relieved because I was
not sure if the other section would understand the group activity that I would
be doing and if they could do it or not.
In the afternoon, my Resource Teacher told me that she would be not around
this afternoon because she needed to get medical at Isulan S.K. and because
of that I was the one who took over her class, she sent me a copy of her
lesson 4 for her Grade 7 STE Zara section and lesson 1 to her Perseus section
through messenger and I will be going to instruct her students to write as an
advanced study for them.
One thing I realized since my observation is that it’s so hard and exhausting
to be a teacher so I should be more serious and responsible for this.

November 20, 2023 DAY 8 (Monday)

November 16, 2023 DAY 7 (Thursday)
I didn’t have much today. I just stayed in my Resource Teacher's room and
waited for her until she had a vacant because I needed to ask her if my
Lesson Plan was okay and if it was ready to go on my Teaching demo.
Since she was busy with the school papers she just took my printed lesson
plan and said that she would check it tonight and send it to my messenger if
ever there’s a need to revise.
Today is my first teaching, and I don’t feel any nervousness, I can feel that it
will be successful, and I’m right. I love this feeling, and I love what I did
today. At first, I encountered some small problems during my teaching at the
Grade 7 Pluto section, but I managed it and ended my demonstration on time.
And then, to the Grade 7 STE Banzon, I felt a little bit awkward because they
were all silent while I was on my discussion, so, what I did is that I just kept
on asking them and gave an example in every type of Awiting-Bayan.
As I compared the Grade 7 Pluto to the STE, the STE is more responsible
and can easily understand what was being taught, and during the group
activity, I grouped them into two and gave them one of the examples in
Awiting-bayan for group 1 to perform, and Bulong for the group 2, and it’s
up to them what will they gonna do creatively. The performance of STE is
much better than the Pluto section.
After my teaching demonstration, my Resource Teacher praised me for a job
well done and advised me on what I needed to improve especially my voice.
November 21, 2023 DAY 9 (Tuesday)
I didn’t have much today. I just stayed in my Resource Teacher's room and
answered my remaining learning episodes in FS 402.
After my Resource Teacher’s class in the morning, she gave me the next
lesson that I would be teaching in my next teaching demonstration on
November 29 in all her class schedules except for her last period in the
afternoon which is in the Perseus section. So, the sections that I would teach
on my next teaching demonstration are in the Grade 7 Pluto, Saturn, and STE
Zara.
November 24, 2023 DAY 10 (Friday)
Today is Friday and my Resource Teacher will be not around this morning
because of some private matter since she’s not around, she just instructed me
to do an activity she sent in her class on Pluto and STE Banzon section, and
to her last period this morning which is the Saturn section, the students will
perform the activity that she gave yesterday and presented it in front of the
class, and I will be the one to give points based on the criteria that my
Resource Teacher gave.
I realized today that the Saturn section was much better than the Pluto
section. As my RT said I need to be serious and not friendly to them because
that was the problem I encountered in the Pluto section, but in this case, the
Saturn section was very close to me, they are so messy and noisy but they are
still following my instruction and when I said “tahimik” they eventually go
silent.
November 28, 2023 DAY 11 (Tuesday)
Today, I just stayed in my Resource Teacher’s room preparing my
PowerPoint presentation and lesson plan to be checked by Ma’am Charlene,
my Resource Teacher, I was surprised because there was no need to revise
my Lesson Plan, so I decided to excuse myself to go on the library to prepare
my Visual Aids and edit my PowerPoint for my second teaching
demonstration tomorrow.
November 29, 2023 DAY 12 (Wednesday)
Today is my second teaching, and my feeling right now is the same as when I
conducted my first teaching demonstration. The behavior of Grade 7 Pluto
was the same as my first teaching demo, they not listening well so I decided
to pinpoint some of them and I asked them a question about our lesson.
The next section I teach was at Grade 7 Saturn when I was in the middle of
the discussion, my heart was very happy, I felt like a teacher because they
were so active and funny at the same time. I want to cry after my class to
their section, but I cannot and I just thank them for the behavior that they’ve
shown me. As I compared them to the Pluto section, I felt more comfortable
with the Saturn section because they were nice and active.
My last section to be taught was the first period in the afternoon at the Grade
7 STE Zara. My class went well today, I just feel a little bit awkward in STE.
After my teaching demonstration, my Resource Teacher told me that she
needed to go to the next class which is in the Grade 7 Perseus section, since
she only gave me the three sections for my teaching demonstration.
I was very happy about my achievement today, I didn't think I could do it but
I did.
December 5, 2023 DAY 13 (Tuesday)
Today is my third and last teaching demonstration, and my feeling right now
is not the same as when I conducted my first and second teaching
demonstration. I felt the nervousness. I didn’t have the confidence to do my
last teaching demonstration because of my lesson, I didn’t know if my
objectives matched my activities, and it took me 4 days to finish my Lesson
Plan.
When I started my lesson on Grade 7 Pluto, I tried as much as I could to not
feel any nervousness in my heart, as I can see the reaction of my Resource
teacher at the back when I was in the middle of a discussion about the Antas
o digri ng Kahulugan, I know that something wrong in the first place because
in the module is not the same in the internet when I searched it. There was a
wrong in the degree of every word in the module but I decided to just follow
the module. After my teaching in the Pluto section, my Resource Teacher
about my discussion in Antas o Digri, I automatically said that I knew that
there was something wrong and I didn’t know if I followed what the internet
says or in the module. So, she said that it’s better to follow what you know
and I automatically edited my PowerPoint presentation.
The next section I teach was at the Grade 7 STE Banzon, my class went well
and they participated actively.
December 7, 2023 DAY 14 (Thursday)
Today, I just stayed in my Resource Teacher’s room.
Since she had a vacant in the second and third period, we talked about my
teaching demonstration, she said that my confidence was being boosted and
also my voice and I thanked her for that because it was all her ideas and
strategies that boosted my confidence and my shyness didn’t show up. At
first, in my mind, I kept on complaining about my teaching demonstration
because it should be one section but she wanted me to teach in every section
she had. I felt jealous of my friends about their demonstration but I just
realized that it was the strategy of my Resource Teacher to train me and for
me to master well my lesson. As I compare myself to my friends, I can say
that my Resource Teacher’s strategies she used to me were very helpful and
the result was excellent.
December 11, 2023 DAY 15 PREPARATION FOR RETRIEVAL OF FS In the middle of the program, I was surprised by the student who tapped me

Certificates to the Resource Teachers, Intermission, Giving of Certificates to
SKSU Field Study Students, and Words of Inspiration of Dr. Eskak Delna,
CES, the Principal of Esperanza National High School.
