Figure 1 shows the independent variable which is the effects of alcoholism and academic

performance which is the dependent variable. These variables significantly affect the academic

performance of the learners. However if this variables are controlled, it can lead to improved

grades, learners teachers retention in schools and learners shall respond to their assignments very

well hence good academic performance.

There is no significant effect of alcoholism to the senior high school learners academic
performance.

Figure 2 shows the input which are the respondents demographic profile (age, gender, strand,

status, ethnicity and religion and the independent variable which is the effect of alcohol and also

the dependent variable which is the dependent variable which is the academic performance and

also last is the related theories. Then the process which are the research designing, data

gathering, data collation and also data analysis and interpretation and lastly the output which

shows the recommendations.
