NTRODUCTION

The process illustrates the way in which ethanol fuel is produced from corn.

OVERVIEW
Several stages are shown on the diagram. They start from the harvesting of corn on the farm and
end in ethanol extraction in which ethanol can become a fuel product for transport.

At the beginning of the process, corn is harvested on the farm and then/subsequently it is delivered
to in the warehouse where it is carefully reserved

The corn is mashed into cornstarch by a milling machine, and then this flour is cooked with water
( four hours) to prepare for undergoing fermentation.

After two days being fermented, this flour continue to the step ‘separating’: liquid is extracted
while/whereas/whilst solid waste material is produced.

At the seventh stage in the process, the liquid is used to separate ethanol, that spends on five hours
