The purpose of the study by Barata Jr., J. R. M., was to emphasize the potential of other

factors in the production of a product and to advocate for another method. Okra, also

known as Abelmoschus esculentus, is used to make glue in a different method. This is

known as "gluekra" The potential of okra as a useful, renewable commodity is the main

topic of this study. Its mucilaginous qualities are employed as a food thickener, especially

in soups. Before to cooking, the upper portion of the okra pods is frequently removed or

chopped off and tossed. Mucilage, which gives the okra pod its slimy feature, is also

present in this portion. This mucilage has a lot of potential as a substitute for glue. It may

release its mucilage, which may be obtained in creating glue, by extracting the mucilage

inside the by boiling, separating, and filtration operations. This study contains the method

in collection and preparation of mucilage from okra which the researcher will include in

his methodology section.
