Ma’am:

Greetings of peace!

We are a group of student researchers from the STEM Strand currently conducting a study
entitled, Perceived Parental Support and Students' Coping Mechanism: Correlates of Perceived Well-
being, in partial fulfillment of the requirements in Practical Research 2. This study aims to determine
how the Perceived Parental Support of Senior High School Students can be described in terms of their
parents' availability, verbal reassurance, and physical expression of affection that they receive, and to
gain insights on what coping techniques students use and how this correlates to their perceived well-
being. In this light, we seek your expertise as validator for the research instrument we are crafting.

The research instrument is a survey questionnaire which aims to determine if parental support
and coping mechanism of senior high school students, particularly in Becuran High School, somehow
correlates to their perceived well-being by using a 4-point likert scale. Attached here is a copy of our
statement of the problem, and the evaluation form for our research questionnaire.

Please do not hesitate to give corrections and suggestions. Our team is looking forward to your
feedback. Thank you and God bless!

Respectfully yours,

Noted:

Kristina Paula P. Dizon, RN, LPT, MAEd.
