Statement of The Problem
Topic: What factors are responsible for the different types of pollution in my
community and how does it affect the residents?

What are the major causes of pollution in the community of byles district? What
are the effects of pollution on the residents in the community?
Reason For Selecting The Area Of
Research
I am a resident of byles district and throughout these years I have observed that
various forms of pollution are frequent in the community with the most concerning
one being land pollution. This is due to the continuous dumping of materials by the
residents. This has lead me to do an analysis on the problem, with the aim of
bringing to light the possible causes and effects. I also hope to find a working
clarification that will lessen the problem.
Method of Investigation
For the purpose of this investigation, I have chosen a questionnaire as the
instrument of data collection.

The advantages of using questionnaire:

1. It can be done at the convenience of the person required to have it

completed.
2. It guarantees confidentially since respondents are not required to attach their
names.
