    SCAMPER – PRODUCT (SMARTIES)

    SCAMPER DESCRIPTION
    SUBSTITUTE Strawberry Filling

    COMBINE Oreo Cookies with smarties on it

    ADAPT Christmas: White flake design sugar coatings


    New Year: Red firework design sugar coating
    Halloween: Orange pumpkin design sugar coating with sprinkles

    MODIFY Variety of shapes, especially during holidays

    PUT TO OTHER USE Change in color, shape, and flavor where the goal is it can be eaten by anyone with
    varying taste and anytime even in particular events

    ELIMINATE Removing the shape and letters spelling out “SMARTIES” for it is not attractable
    marketing other than for a specific age group and eliminating an additional ounce of
    sugar made from those letters.

    REVERSE/REARRANGE Have different packaging for different events & amount such as jars and resealable
    packaging .
