Purpose:
• Students will be able to understand and follow simple commands.
• Students will be able to identify words starting with the letters B and D.
• Students will be able to circle the things beginning with b and underline the things beginning with d.

Introduction (07 minutes)

1. Greet the students and get their attention.


2. Introduce the topic of commands, explaining that these are words we use to tell someone to do
something.
3. Ask students if they can think of any commands they know already.

Instruction (13 minutes)

1. Teach the commands: "stand up", "Look at the board", "Draw a flower, "Color it.", "Show me
your book," "Go to your seat", "Open the door".
2. Use visual aids from text book to help illustrate the commands.
3. Demonstrate the commands and encourage students to repeat them.

Practice (10 minutes)

1. Have students practice the commands in pairs or small groups.


2. Provide opportunities for students to take turns giving commands to each other.
3. Show students pictures of objects that start with the letter's "B" and "D".
4. Have students circle the objects that start with "B" and underline the objects that start with "D".
Assessment (10 minutes)
1. Observe students as they practice the commands and circle/underline the objects.
2. Provide feedback to individual students as needed.
3. Ask questions to assess comprehension, such as "Can you give me a command using the word
'stand up'?"

Closure (5 minutes)
1. Recap the commands and have students repeat them.
2. Review the objects that start with "B" and "D".
3. Ask students to give one command they remember from the lesson.
