Standard Complementary: 2.2.2 Ask for attention or help from a teacher or classmate by using suitable
questions.
Learning Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and fill in at least 4 blanks correctly.
Objectives Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to ask at least 3 suitable questions to their
friends
Activity Pre-lesson: Pupils recap on Can you…. sentence pattern.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils copy the table in page 23 textbook into their exercise book.
2. Pupils listen to audio 12 and practice the exchange.
3. Pupils then fill in the table with their answers first.
4. Pupils start asking questions to their partners and fill in the blanks.
Post-lesson: Play a TPR game:
Teacher: Can you……...?
Pupils say I can and sit / Pupils say I can’t and stand.

Learning Main: 4.1.2 (i) Write letters and words in a straight line from left to right with regular spaces between

Complementary: 4.1.2 (ii) Form upper and lower case letters of regular size and shape
Learning Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to write capital letters (A – L) correctly.
Objectives Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to write small letters (a-l) correctly.
Activity Pre-lesson: Pupils are introduced to the alphabet.

1. Teacher writes capital letter and small letter on the whiteboard.
2. Pupils are guided to write the alphabet correctly.
3. Pupils write the alphabet in their writing book.
Post-lesson: Pupils say the alphabet A-L.
