Ring gauge

 Ring gage, is a cylindrical ring of a thermally stable material often steel, Ring gauge are
mainly used to check the outer diameters of pins, shafts, splines, fasteners, dowels, studs,
and other machined cylindrical parts.
 Its more expensive to manufacture. So it have limited usage
 There are 2 types ring gauge :
1. Standard Ring gauge- It have only one Measurement
2. Limited Ring gauge- It have Go Measurement and Non Go measurement
 2 important points up to be check while using ring gauges
1St one is it should engage the shaft without using pressure.
2nd one is It should just able to slide through slowly
