Conflict Resolution
Read each example then give a brief description of how you would resolve the
conflict.
1. A classmate is constantly teasing you during recess.
I will tell to stop teasing him. If he doesn’t stop teasing me, I would just simply
ignore him.

2. You and your brother both want to use the computer at the same time.
I will let him use the computer first if he has something important to do but if
it’s not important, I am the one who is going to use the computer.

3. While playing basketball, the referee called a foul but you think you did not.
I will just go on and ignore the call because when playing basketball in a
professional manner for me, I don’t want to argue with the referee that can give
me a technical violation.

4. You and your friend are trying to decide who goes first while playing cards.
I will suggest to him to play rock, paper and scissors with me to determine who
is going to be first, whoever wins the game the winner is first in playing cards.

5. You are playing tag with your friends and every time you tag a friend, he
claims that you didn’t get him or he calls time-out.
I will tell my friend if doesn’t want to get tag, I suggest to him to leave the
game because he is a sore loser.

6. Your sister keeps going into your room and using your things when you are not
at home.
I will tell my sister if she really wants to use my things, she should ask my
permission so I can be updated that she is using my stuff.

7. A friend keeps trying to get you to do things that you know are wrong.
I will tell my friend that the things that he is doing is wrong, if he doesn’t listen
to me, I will just unfriend him and ignore him.

8. You see an unfamiliar child in your neighborhood who has fallen of his bike
and is bleeding and crying.
I will ask the child where is his home then help him to go back to his house and
tell his guardians what happened.
