MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

WHEREAS, Callao Elementary School, School Parents Teachers Association,

SPG and Barangay Council of Callao Elementary School have come together
to collaborate and make a proposal for the Implementation of Brigada
Pagbasa through Project Callao Damayan sa Pagbasa.

WHEREAS, the partners listed below have agreed into a collaborative

agreement in which Callao Elementary School will be the lead agency and
named proponent and the Parent Volunteers, NGAs, Community including
NGOs, Private Sector and Barangay Council will be partners in this
proposal; and

WHEREAS, the partners herein desire to enter into a Memorandum of

Understanding setting forth the services to be provided by the collaborative;
and

WHEREAS, the proposal prepared and approved by the collaborative

through its partners is to be submitted to the Schools Division Office of
Cagayan on or before April, 2022

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

NOW, THEREFORE, it hereby agreed by and between the partners as

follows:
On the implementation of the Brigada Pagbasa thru Project: CDP-
Callao Damayan sa Pagbasa, the school must ensure the safety of the
learners by providing them the safety health paraphernalias.

The Partner Agencies is to help the school in implementing Brigada

Pagbasa thru Project CDP (Callao Damayan sa Pagbasa) with Brigada
Pagbasa School and Stakeholders’ Partnership (reading tutors and

learners, other volunteers, etc.) following health safety protocols. The

Barangay Officials will provide Home Learning Space (HLS) for the learners
While the parents/guardians,

will help monitor the reading progress and safety of their children.
TIMELINE

The roles and responsibilities described above shall bind the parties within
the period from June to August, 2022.

COMMITMENT TO PARTNERSHIP

The partners agree and to collaborate and assistance of the

implementation of the BRIGADA PAGBASA through Project CDP-Callao
Damayan sa Pagbasa in response to Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa, issued
under DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 173, s. 2019 and other partnership
programs and projects consistent with DO 40, s. 2015 titled Guidelines on K
to 12 Partnerships.

We, the undersigned have read and agreed with their Memorandum of
Agreement. Further, we have reviewed the proposed plan and approve it.
