ACTIVITY #2

Direction: Answer the following questions:

1. What Filipino value do you have that you are proud of? Why?

Utang na loob or what we call in english Dept of gratitude because it was something that came
from a joyful heart and it will be given without a person forcing you to give it.

2. What Filipino value annoys you a lot? Why?

Some filipino values was misunderstood sometimes just like the utang na loob and it really
annoys me when an old person or older that me beg for it or please for it because they give you
life or food that is relly not something that you should feel indept of.

3. What does this saying mean, “A job gives you money, a calling gives you meaning?”

For me A job gives you money was a literal meaning of it, but for a calling gives you meaning is
something that you will do even without money being get back to you and you are just happy
doing it or it gives your life meaning.
4. How important is the responsibility of repaying borrowed money in relation to “kagandahang

loob” and “kabutihang loob?”

Because of the kagandahang loob or kabutihang loob of other people the borrowed money that is
mention was given because they think you needed it. The importance of paying it back is so that
they know that they can trust you in that matter.

5. How can education do away with colonial and crab mentality for the country to be

economically strong?

The first thing we need in my opinion is we should have clear communication and talk about
being open minded for all the thing that is happening around us because everything is growing
and nothing will stay the same and so do people.
