List and describe more products of technical writing and tell us what we can
benefit from these kinds of writing. Give at least five (5)

PROGRESS REPORT-
It is a document explaining the details of how far the completion of a project has gone
to, including the outlines of the activities that have been carried out already, the
completed tasks and the highlights of the project
BENEFIT: One can easily track down any deficiencies within the project and can
immediately act about how to resolve such.

BROCHURE-
It is a multi-page paper that is folded which contains the companies’ products and
services and their information’s, usually had pictures with the products, services and list
of accommodations in it. It can also be found at the airports and resorts endorsing
their services and other offers.
BENEFIT: One does not have to ask so much about the companies’ products or
services since most of the information are displayed already in the brochure, unless the
customers wants to have a clearer explanation about something.

BUSINESS PROPOSAL
-it is a document in writing that a supplier should send to their possible client with
hopes of winning their project. It is to persuade their potential client why they should
buy their products or services, or what they have to offer.
BENEFIT: One will improve their strategic planning, can have more research about
what their potential clients may want, and one can also improve marketing by planning
for monitoring and evaluation.

INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL-
-It is an instructional guide or a user guide who contains information on how to operate
and make something work. It is a guide to the user on how to use the product, may it be
technologically advanced products such as home appliances, vehicles, computer parts,
etc., through step by step completion of tasks.
BENEFIT: One will be able to use their new products in safety and with precautions
since these manuals also includes the dos and don’ts of the products’ function. And
even in first timers’ use, they will find it easy to follow the steps since most
instructional manual guides through step by step instruction.

POLICY-
- It is a system of principles that guide decisions to achieve rational outcomes.  A written
agreement with a company that contains a plan of action adopted or preserved by both

BENEFIT: One will have something to up to and will mostly avoid being cheeky as
much as possible because policies are formal documents and are made to be respected.
One must be honest at all times.
