rest.

D. Discussing new concepts and The time signature is the basis used to properly
practicing new skills #1 organize the grouping of notes and rests in a

There are two beats in each measure.
The ¾ time signature has three beats per measure and the
quarter note receives one count. This type of time signature is
commonly used in waltzes. Its accent is on the first beat while the
