EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

There is much that goes on when reading a letter and when words are recognized in order

to comprehend the meaning of a phrase, a sentence, and a paragraph level. A beginner reader is

likely to skip over language they do not understand or do not identify as a result of incorrect

decoding. A line of text is difficult to understand and becomes more mentally taxing and

frustrating the more blank spaces there are in it. Students should be able to read fluently because

it is a necessary skill. Students can learn a great deal through reading. This project proposal aims

to provide knowledge to our chosen participants when it comes to reading and understanding

English language. Through tutoring and providing activities for them we can enhance their skills

when it comes to the reading and improving their reading comprehension.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Students in elementary school have trouble reading, pronouncing words, and sometimes

stuttering. They fall behind in their academics and their reading comprehension, which is

primitive. Students are struggling to comprehend what they read. One of the issues with the

pandemic is reading levels of apprehension. In actuality, in these times of ambiguity, students'

use of social media trends is seen to be the main influence on their learning habits and desire to

participate in interactive learning sessions. The organization of project proposal is indeed facing

this problem. The more efficiently you can teach a certain group of students over a set period of

time, the more likely it is that others will follow suit later on when they realize how much fun

learning can be.

The proponents plan to conduct tutoring and have one tutee for each member in this

project proposal. Through reading, we can obtain essential information especially young

learners. In the concrete, students – one (1) up to three (3) learners are disinterested during class

time when reading is on. It manifested that reading must be accompanied with excitement and

indulgence. In order to relate, “TUTORING GRADE SCHOOL LEARNERS IN THEIR

READING COMPREHENSION” demonstrates the essence of a fun-learning educational

approach in which young students must complete a 40–60 hour session, adequate refreshments,

and other activities will be offered at the same time. This project proposal was developed with

the goal of assisting young learners enhance their reading comprehension, not just by reading but

also through writing, analyzing, checking syntax and spelling, and conceptual understanding. It

will be advantageous to both of the implementers because they are each providing the other an

opportunity to prove their realistic capabilities in this area.
