In affirmative sentences the word order is subject + verb in the simple past form+ complements.
For regular verbs the past simple form is the same for all persons ending in -d or -ed. For irregular
verbs, the past simple form varies according to the irregular verbs list.
In negative sentences the word other is subject+ didn’t + infinitive of main verb without to +

verbs in the negative forms.
In the interrogative form the word is did + subject + infinitive of main verb without to +
complements?. Did is an auxiliary verb that always begins the past simple sentences. The Question
mark in English must be placed only at the end of the sentence.
