Project Title:
Teachers in Action Leading to Astounding Skills (TALAS)

Problem Statement:
This project aims to facilitate collaboration and cooperation in solving shared challenges
encountered in schools. All LAC sessions primarily revolve around initiatives relating to the
continuous improvement of teachers’ pedagogical skills, instructional strategies, and
assessment practices. This is also to intensify teachers’ professional development in areas
such as content knowledge and pedagogy, instructional delivery, assessment, and
evaluation, learning resource development, research and innovation, and ethics and
professionalism.

Project Objective Statement:

The primary goal of this project is to provide the needs of the teachers with things like
seminars, workshops, and trainings related to teaching and learning for continuous
improvement of their pedagogical skills, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
1. Assess and evaluate Individual Development Plan of Teachers.
2. Design the Annual LAC Plan.
3. Conduct SLAC session every month.
3. Assess the Conduct of LAC Sessions.
4. Communicate the results to Teachers and the School Head.

Root Cause:
Teachers' self-assessment of their strengths and weaknesses were not reflected clearly on
their Individual Development Plan.
